Independent accredited organizations test us every year to ensure we meet and exceed international standards for food safety and quality.
Depending on our partners’ markets, we adapt to additional certifications and country-specific requirements, such as Beter Leven Keurmerk and Halal site certification.

Most of our meals contain meat and with that comes responsibility. Together with our customers and suppliers, we ensure animal welfare standards that reflect our shared values.
We also continuously develop meat-free alternatives. Meals enriched with vegetables or made with plant-based proteins that match the taste and quality of our originals.

Our Nijmegen production facility is certified according to BREEAM (4-star ranking). A standard covering everything from lighting efficiency to the green landscape around the building.
NO-DEFORESTATION COMMITMENT
Plaza Foods is committed to no deforestation for soy and beef-related raw materials by December 31, 2025. We will not purchase soy or beef sourced from land that has been deforested after 2020.
